Quorum Hospitality Appointed to Manage Field Station Joshua Tree Following Avenir Hospitality's Acquisition
The Companies Join Forces on a Distinctive Lifestyle Property in the High Desert
Newport Beach, CA—Sept. 21, 2026: Quorum Hospitality, a leading hotel management company, and investment firm Avenir Hospitality today announced they are partnering on Field Station Joshua Tree, a lifestyle hotel in Yucca Valley, CA. This follows Avenir’s recent acquisition of the property and appointment of Quorum to lead management.
Located 20 minutes from the west entrance of Joshua Tree, one of the country’s most iconic national parks, this distinctive property is the ideal home base for hiking the park's trails and exploring its famed rock formations, with easy access to day trips across the High Desert.
Quorum will bring a structured revenue strategy, focused marketing support and operational discipline to strengthen the asset's performance and long-term value, working closely with Avenir throughout. The two companies will also jointly oversee the hotel's upcoming rebrand, planned for 2027.

Set across more than four acres and seven buildings, the property offers 69 rooms — among the best in Yucca Valley — ranging from king rooms to bunk configurations that sleep up to 10 guests. Its configuration makes it well-suited to everyone from solo adventurers to larger families and groups. Following a multi-million-dollar renovation in 2024, the property now features a design inspired by its high desert setting: clean lines, natural materials, modern furniture and décor, and sustainable upgrades.
At the center of the property is a hybrid lobby and communal space that houses the check-in desk, fully stocked gear shop, lounge area and Little Station Coffee + Kitchen. Guests can unwind at the pool and hot tub or gather around fire pits and the bocce ball court. Every guest room includes built-in bike and gear storage, plus additional bike storage areas throughout the property.
This addition deepens Quorum's growing presence in the Greater Palm Springs area, where the company already manages various experiential properties. It reflects the company's continued growth in premier destination markets and its track record of owner-aligned operations at unique, experiential hotels.
